INSTALLATION/EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
DeChiazza designed and organized the construction of the MUJI RestStop for the US launch of MUJI's BodyFit Cushion during NYC Design Week in May 2015, creating a calming enclosed space that set itself apart from Muji's Cooper Square store. The RestStop invited shoppers to spend time relaxing on the cushions surrounded by plants and gentle shade. Interactive consoles offered an immersive expansion of the Muji to Relax app, through soothing audio and light.
